Lex Drewinski |Poland| born on 11 September 1951 in Szczecin.

In 1981 Drewinski graduated with honors from Professor Waldemar Świerzy‘s Class of Poster Art. After he worked as a director and scriptwriter at the Animated Film Studio in Poznań he left Poland for West Berlin. Since1992 professor of the Faculty of Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam (Germany) and since 2010 professor of the Faculty of Graphic Design at Academy of Art in Szczecin (Poland).

He had taken part in most significant poster exhibitions and competitions around the world. His solo-exhibitions are presented in more than 60 exhibitions all over the world in cities like: Athens, Beijing, Beirut, Berlin, Barcelona, Cracow, Damascus, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Nicosia, Stockholm, Quito, Thesaloniki, Warsaw and more.

He has won a lot of awards and distinctions, mainly in international competitions and cyclical and occasional events: Silver Medal at Art Directors Club – International Exhibition (1994), 1st Prize at International Triennial of Political Poster in Mons (1995 and 1998), Golden Bee Award at „Golden Bee” International Biennale of Graphic Design (1996), 1st Prize at Trnava Poster Triennial (2000), Grand Prix at International Triennial Of Stage Poster (2007), Gold Medal at International Biennial of the Poster in Mexico (2010) and many more.
