Skopje Design Week 2012

The idea was so obvious. Skopje needed this event. It was than when representatives of Plakart  along with other partners visited more than 30 companies to present the plans of Skopje Design Week. More than 15 of them accepted the challenge to cooperate with us both within events of the official program of SDW and as a partners, supporters, sponsors.

Skopje Design Week 2012 consists of three main topics: Exhibitions, Workshops and Country in Focus- Finland.

One of the leading goals of Plakart was to drive more internationality to this design event and one of the biggest challenges was  to give accent to graphic design as important part of the festival. And we did it!

In order to do that we invited couple of international design related projects like Eduard Cehovin, Rene Wawrzkiewicz, Karel Misek and his students from university from Usty nad Labem and our friends from Posterfortommorow  that took part in few events of the official program.
