Plakart – The Association of Graphic Designers of Macedonia is celebrating its 10th anniversary of existence and 10. poster competition considered the first annual poster contest dedicated to students that offered free and online submission.

The Council of International Student Poster Competition and Skopje Poster Festival decided the choice of the issue of this year competition to be based on popularity, the importance of the issue globally and attractiveness for young designers. Therefore we present the topic of 10. ISPC – “Artificial Reality.”

“This year competition will provide yet another chance for students to compete with their counterparts around the world on the topic, which attracts attention and is a globally raised issue. It is one of the most important concerns for business elites and policy makers, but at same time is affecting both highly developed economies and undeveloped countries. “- said Gere Tripkov from Plakart.

Submission deadline is scheduled for 30 October 2017. Jury selection will be carry out in three stages, preliminary online phase, the main online phase and live final jury sessions in Skopje before the opening of the festival in the second half of November.

The winners will get the opportunity to exhibit series of their works in the framework of the 11th Skopje Poster Festival in 2018. Grand Prix laureats will also receive exclusive access to live jury selection during the 11 SPF and VIP participation in all program events. Along with the winners – one author will be awarded with Special Jury Mention and seven of the finalist will be announced Honorary Mentions.

The international jury will be consisted of eminent designers, educators and creatives and will be revealed at the end of April/beginning of May.

This year’s competition and festival poster was designed by Michel Bouvet, organizer of the largest festival of graphic design in France “Fête du Graphisme”, lecturer, curator, winner of numerous international design awards.
